Costs:

  • Ethereum Gas - Standard L1 gas fees for deposit transaction

  • Bridge Fee - Minimal fee (typically <$1) for bridge operation

  • CMX Network Gas - Low-cost L2 fees for claiming assets

Timeline:

  • Deposit Time - ~15 minutes (Ethereum block finality)

  • Availability - Immediate use on CMX Network after confirmation

Withdrawing to Ethereum

Process:

  1. Initiate Withdrawal - Submit withdrawal transaction on CMX Network

  2. Challenge Period - 7-day period for fraud proof challenges

  3. Finalize on Ethereum - Complete withdrawal after challenge period

  4. Receive Assets - Assets available in Ethereum wallet

Costs:

  • CMX Network Gas - Low L2 fees for withdrawal initiation

  • Ethereum Gas - L1 fees for finalization transaction

  • No Bridge Fee - Standard withdrawal process included

Timeline:

  • Initiation - Instant on CMX Network

  • Challenge Period - 7 days (security requirement)

  • Total Time - ~7 days for complete withdrawal
